FRAMINGHAM – TGI Friday’s and other establishments still operating, under the pandemic for take out and curbside, were asked to close early tonight, June 3, after social media threats of “violence” and looting at Shoppers World

On Monday, members of the Natick Police Department informed Wegmans and Nouvelle at Natick that there were postings on social media “about planning suspicious, violent, or destructive activity around the Natick Mall around 8″ and businesses were asked to close early and residents asked to stay indoors.

There was no looting or violence at the Natick Mall on Monday, but 40-50 cars showed up, and some had out-of-state license plates.

Framingham Police have additional cruiser at Shoppers World tonight, in case a large group shows up with “violent” intentions.
