FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced 4 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, June 2.

Since the pandemic began on March 11 in the City, there have been 1,674 positive COVID-19 cases.

Framingham is one of the top 12 communities in the state with coronavirus cases. Framingham ranks 14th in the state for the population.

The good news is 1,017 individuals have recovered.

The City of Framingham reported one fatality today.

In total, there have been 95 deaths due to COVID-19 or complications from the virus in the City since the pandemic began.

In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 151 residents in quarantine.

It is unknown how many individuals have been tested for the virus in Framingham.

There are more than 70,000 residents in the City of Framingham.
