1 The City of Framingham will “Commemorate the National Day of Mourning today, June 1, with a Moment of Silence at noon to honor the 100,000+ Americans who have died from COVID-19,” the city announced in a press release Saturday night, May 30.

2. The Memorial Building re-opens today, for appointments only. It has been closed since March 17.

3. CITY of FRAMINGHAM meetings: (all are held remotely unless noted):

  • City Council Planning & Zoning Subcommittee at 6 p.m.
  • Framingham City Council Finance Subcommittee at 6 p.m.
  • Framingham Board of License Commissioners at 7 p.m.

4. Framingham Public Schools fine & performing arts department presents its 4th session of the Celebrity Series Today at 3:30 p.m. the event features Shafiq Hicks, an actor & musician from Philadelphia who recently performed as Tom Collins in the 25th Anniversary tour of Rent
