FRAMINGHAM – A popular Route 9 restaurant has decided to close, effective today, May 30.

After 13 years at its location on Route 9 in Westborough, The Chateau announced this morning it will close permanently.

Restaurants have been closed, and only allowed to serve take-out since mid-March, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Westborough location was at 95 Turnpike Road.

The Italian cuisine chain still has locations in Andover, Norwood, Braintree, Burlington, Franklin, Waltham, and Stoughton. The chain is known for its chicken parmigiana, lasagna, and toasted ravioli.
