NATICK – Vickie Lee (Mathewson) Philben, 60 of Millis, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2020.

She was the beloved wife of Mark F. Philben of Millis and devoted mother of Heather M. Philben of San Diego, CA and Mark F. Philben Jr. of Millis. Daughter of Beverly J (Nelson) Mathewson and her late husband Marvin S. Mathewson. Sister of Brenda L. Rucevice, Karen L. Mathewson, and David G. Mathewson and his wife Carol.  Vickie is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Vickie enjoyed hiking in the White Mountains, camping in Maine, and barefoot walks along a sandy beach. Vickie loved to crochet blankets and scarves to give out as gifts, some to family and friends and others for the homeless population of Boston.            

Vickie’s family would like to thank the entire staff at the Pappas Center for Neuro-Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital for their compassion and care.
