MARLBOROUGH – The City of Marlborough reported its 39th and 40th COVID-19 death today, May 28.

The City of Marlborough also lowered its number of coronavirus cases from 916 to 913.

An asterisk next to the chart stated “daily fluctuations of numbers, either up or down, may occur once permanent residence is established.”

The good news is that 680 individuals have recovered from the virus.

It is unknown how many individuals have been tested in the city of almost 40,000 people.

About 2% of the City’s residents have tested positive for the virus.

Middlesex County has the most positive cases, at more than 20,000.

Framingham has the most cases in MetroWest, with more than 1,600 COVID-19 positive cases.

Marlborough is second.

The City of Framingham is also among the top 12 communities with coronavirus cases in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
