FRAMINGHAM – Mayor Yvonne M. Spicer announced today, May 27, the launch of a Summer Programming Task Force, bringing together City officials and key stakeholders to develop a strategic plan to address challenges of Summer programming due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Summer Programming Task Force will identify public and private
organizations to coordinate efforts and launch a comprehensive list of resources available to families.

The Task Force will work with the Framingham Health Department to assess the ability of organizations to provide Summer offerings that meet state and local guidelines.

Community organizations considering Summer programming and activities are encouraged to participate in an online survey by June 5.
