FRAMINGHAM – A Dunkin’ franchise employee tested positive for COVID-19 in Framingham.

A employee at the 876 Edgell Road Dunkin’ tested positive for the virus. He last worked at that location on May 25, according to corporate Dunkin’.

“At Dunkin’, the safety and well-being of our guests, franchisees and their restaurant employees is our number one priority. We are aware that a franchise employee at a Dunkin’ restaurant located at 876 Edgell Road in Framingham, Mass. has tested positive for COVID-19,” said a spokesperson for Dunkin’ corporate.

“The franchisee who owns and operates this restaurant has informed us that the employee, who last worked on May 25, is currently in self-quarantine and no other restaurant employees have exhibited any symptoms of the illness,” said the spokesperson for Dunkin’.

“All restaurant employees who may have been potentially exposed are being paid while they self-quarantine for 14 days,’ said the Dunkin’ spokesperson to SOURCE.

“The franchisee confirmed that all recommendations from local health officials are being followed and the restaurant is in full compliance with all CDC, local and state public health guidelines. The franchisee temporarily closed this location on May 26 and took preventative measures to deep clean and disinfect the location in an abundance of caution and in the best interest of guests and their employees,” said the spokesperson for Dunkin’ corportae.
