FRAMINGHAM – Members of the Framingham High senior class did not have a normal end of their school career this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Framingham High teachers Chris Brindley & Brad Groleau decided to make a video featuring the educators, staff, and administrators over the last two weeks as a gift for the seniors, who would have had their graduation on Sunday, June 7.

The video premiered today, May 25.

It starts out with history teacher Taylor Collins trying to get into the high school.

Principal Carolyn Banach answers the locked door, wearing a mask, explaining schools has been closed for two months due to COVID-19.

Banach closes the door and tells Collins to go home.

Instead, she break into singing Katy Perry’s Firework song.

The video then features many of the Framingham High staff singing parts of the song in their backyards, at their homes, and in various other locations.
