No one was injured, said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.
Lt. Grigas said shell casings were found. The number was not released.
She said neighbors reported hearing gunshots.
Reports had the gunshots fired into the air, which is still dangerous as the shots can impact individuals coming down.

A description of a vehicle was provided to police from neighbors and witnesses, explained Lt. Grigas.
Based on that description a vehicle was pulled over at Clark and Concord Street at 10:20 p.m. The driver of the vehicle was arrested.
But he was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Lt. Grigas said the arrested was not related to the gunshots.
