MARLBOROUGH – The City of Marlborough reported 17 new coronavirus positive cases on Tuesday, May 19.

That is 83 new cases in the last 5 days.

The 17 news cases represent a 2.19% increase in COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

Marlborough now has a total of 794 positive cases since the pandemic began.

The City of Marlborough is also reporting an additional death for a total of 35 deaths due to COVID-19 or complications from the coronavirus since the pandemic began.

The good news is that 503 individuals have recovered from the virus.

It is unknown how many individuals have been tested in the city of almost 40,000 people.

About 2% of the City’s residents have tested positive for the virus.
