Framingham Reporting 3 More COVID-19 Deaths; Total 80 Fatalities

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham reported 3 more COVID-19 deaths, on Monday, May 18.

“Today’s fatalities are connected to nursing homes,” said the City of Framingham in a press release.

That is 11 deaths in the last 72 hours, and 20 deaths in the last six days

In total, there have been 80 deaths due to COVID-19 or complications from the virus.

Today, the City of Framingham reported 10 new cases of the Coronavirus.

Framingham has reported 106 new cases in the last four days.

That brings the total number of positive cases since the pandemic began in the City on March 11 to 1,456. cases.

The good news is 583 individual have recovered.

The city now has 793 active cases as of May 17.

In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 244 residents in quarantine.

It is unknown how many individuals have been tested for the virus in Framingham.

There are more than 70,000 residents in the City of Framingham.

The City said via its spokesperson it does not have “Framingham-specific information on how many of our residents are being tested.  The state receive statewide information from all testing labs on the number of tests conducted each day.  We, nor any individual community, receive community-specific information from any testing lab.”
