NEWTON, MA – Kayla Hall, a Event Management major at Lasell University, became a Certified Hospitality Department Trainer (CHDT) through the American Hotel & Educational Institute.
Hall, a Framingham resident, received the certification as part of their Hospitality Operations Capstone course, taught by Professor Siddharth Mobar.
“The CHDT designation gives these students industry recognition as professionals who not only excel at their work, but who take on the added responsibility of showing others how to do the job right,” said Mobar.
