FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Public Schools is now registering for bus transportation for the 2020-21 school year.

On Wednesday night, the School Committee unanimously approved a partial refund for families who paid for bus transportation for the 2019-20 school year.

“We know that it’s a challenging time to look ahead to the next school year. There are several conversations happening behind the scenes as to what that might look like – but this is the usual time where we would open Transportation requests for next year,” said the public school district in a message to families this week.

If you need bus transportation for the 2020 – 2021 school year, families are asked to submit requests online using Aspen X2.

The deadline for transportation sign-up is June 18, 2020.

Transportation requests received after the deadline may not be processed until after the start of the school year, said the public school district.

Online registration will require your child’s LASID number.

There is a fee for bus transportation – $250 per child and $500 cap per family.
