MARLBOROUGH – Yvette Moreno, 29, of Marlborough died suddenly Saturday May 2, 2020 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

She was the wife of Santiago Alonso for the last 2 years. 

She was born in Seattle, Washington the daughter of Joel and Margarita (Duenas) Moreno and was a 2010 graduate of Marlborough High School. She attended Framingham State University. 

Yvette worked at Acapulcos Mexican Family Restaurant & Cantina in Sudbury for 13 years.

She loved travelling and did so extensively, travelling throughout Europe and Mexico. She was adventurous and outgoing. Yvette will be remembered for her supportive and caring ways. More than anything she will be remembered for her big heart. 

Besides her husband and parents, she leaves her daughter Kaishly Moreno of Marlborough; a brother Carlos J. Moreno and sister Daisy Moreno both of Marlborough; a nephew Davian Moreno of Marlborough.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday May 6 from 5-9 p.m. in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.

Due to the restrictions on gatherings, we will be monitoring the number of people inside the funeral home and try to allow all to pay their respects, while following the current restrictions.

Burial will be private.
