FRAMINGHAM – MetroWest Medical Center staff celebrated the discharge of its 100th patient, who was treated for COVID-19, today, May 5.

Sherborn resident Steven Wright was discharged after hospitalization due to the coronavirus.

“Our extraordinary team of caretakers continue to work around the clock to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients, and we are honored to celebrate every patient we get to send home,” wrote the Center on social media.

The medical center, as of today May 5, has 55 COVID-19 patients at Framingham Union Hospital and Leonard Morse Hospital.

Of the 55 individuals, 17 are in ICU, including 16 at Framingham Union Hospital.
