MARLBOROUGH – The City of Marlborough announced another two more death today, May 3, bring the total number of fatalities since the pandemic began to 17.
The City of Marlborough is reporting a total of 533 coronavirus cases since the pandemic began.
The City reported 20 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
That is a 3.89% increase in COVID-19 cases since Saturday.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts announced today the state has surpassed 4,000 COVID-19 or Coronavirus complications deaths.
With 158 deaths reported today, May 3, the state now has had 4,004 deaths since the pandemic began due to the virus.
There is no cure and no vaccine for COVID-19, at this time.
Last week, Governor Charlie Baker issued an order to require a face covering starting May 6. Click here to read the order.
There were 1,824 new positive coronavirus cases announced today.
Since 2020, the state has had 68,087 confirmed positive cases of the coronavirus.
Massachusetts now has more positive coronavirus cases than the entire country of Canada which has 60,345 COVID-19 cases.

As of today at 4 p.m., the state has tested 314,646 individuals.
The state tested more than 15,600 individuals in the last 24 hours
Two weeks ago, the number of COVID-19 cases hospitalized was at 9%. A good sign is the number has been 5% this weekend.
Another good sign, the number of individuals in ICUs in the state is under 1,000 for the first time in weeks for the last three days.
Middlesex County has the most positive cases at 15,370.
In comparison Franklin County has just 269 cases.
