FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that due to an aerial survey, traffic will be stopped for approximately one minute at a time, periodically for a one hour period, on Sunday, May 3, between 7 to 8 a.m. at the intersection of Route 9 and California Avenue in Framingham.

The purpose of this aerial survey is to produce base plan maps for upcoming area projects.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution. 

All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be impacted due to an emergency.
