Marie Elizabeth (Mason) Belmore, 87, Johnson School Employee, Past President of Natick Emblem Club, & Little League Volunteer

NATICK – Marie Elizabeth (Mason) Belmore, 87, of Natick passed away at her home Saturday, April 18, 2020.

Marie was a native of Natick, graduating with the Natick High School Class of 1951.

She is pre-deceased by her husband James (“Cy”) Belmore.

She was a loving mother to Brian and his wife Sheri of Rhode Island, William (deceased) of Maine and Cynthia and her husband Peter of Illinois. She was a loving grandmother to Adam and his wife Alicia, Shannon, Nikki, Joshua, Frederick and Michael, and great grandmother to Emma, Daniel, Zachery, Ava, Brian, Abraham and Amos. She is also survived by her sister Ardelle Webster, brother George Mason, sister-in-law Teresa Allen, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Marie worked at Johnson School for many years, and was known by many who grew up and lived in Natick.

She volunteered for the Natick Little League for many years.

Marie was long-time member and past President of the Natick Emblem Club #9.

She enjoyed spending her winters in Florida and summers in York Beach, ME. She enjoyed the company of family and friends, charitable work, travel and was highly skilled at crocheting and other crafts.

Due to the public health concerns and limitations for large gatherings at this time, a celebration of Marie’s life will be held in the coming months.
