FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Youth Lacrosse Board of Directors made the difficult decision to cancel the spring season, due to the pandemic.

Families were told they could get a refund, have the registration money for 2020 go to the 2021 season, or they could donate the money to Daniel’s table, a Framingham based organization that is feeding families, seniors, and individuals during this pandemic.

More than 30% of the families, in a 24-hour period, said they wanted to donate their registration fees to Daniel’s Table, said Josh Franklin

“We are so proud to be part of an organization and community comprised of such wonderful families,” said the board of directors on social media.

“Today, on behalf of our wonderful participant families, Framingham Youth Lacrosse was able to deliver a check in the amount of $10,000 to David and Alicia Blais,” the founders of Daniel’s Table.
