1 Today is Patriots Day in Massachusetts. It is a state holiday but not a federal holiday. There is mail delivery.

Despite the holiday, City of Framingham is doing curbside trash and recycling collection today.

2. Today would have been the 124th running of the Boston Marathon today. But due to the pandemic it has been moved to September 14.

3. Today is Yom Hashoah. The MetroWest Community will livestream a Holocaust Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. The service is a collaboration of Temple Beth Sholom in Framingham, Temple Israel in Natick, Temple Etz Chaim Franklin and Temple Beth Am in Framingham. The Community is invited.

4. The Framingham Interfaith Community Association along with Mayor Yvonne M. Spicer is inviting the public to participate in a Pause for Reflection and Prayer tonight at 6. The Hope For Framingham event is open to the public. Click here for more details.
