BOSTON – The National Weather Service in Boston is forecasting snow, sleet, rain, and then 60 degree weather this weekend.

Late Friday night expect rain that will change over to snow around 1 a.m. Saturday.

Snow is expected to continue until dawn in MetroWest. There should only be about an inch to shovel, unlike in Central and Western Massachusetts that could see several inches.

On Saturday, there will be a mixture of rain, sleet and snow in the morning.

By Saturday night, as the temperature rises, expect all rain.

On Sunday, the National Weather Service, a division of NOAA, is forecasting a sunny day with a high of 60 degrees.
