The exhibit has already been viewed 2,300 times since Friday when the Center made this announcement to their followers.

Stacen Goldman, the Center’s Curator and creator of the exhibit at the Edgell Memorial Library, has done an incredible job transforming this display of 10 of the FHC’s most significant artifacts to the virtual world, said the Center’s Assistant Director.

Much of the information found in the “explore” buttons at the 10 kiosks in the physical exhibit is now accessible from the comfort of home.

There is great information on each piece including a virtual walking tour of the Centre Common that accompanies the bust of Civil War General George Gordon sculpted by Daniel Chester French.

Also available are “learn at home” activities to go along with the virtual exhibit including a scavenger hunt at https://framinghamhistory.org/framinghams-top-10-grades-k-6-scavenger-hunt/
