Last year, the City replaced a 100-year old water system on the road, and this year the City will be upgrading the sewer line, including an “active force main that ties into the gravity sewer in the Edgell & Central Intersection.”

the project will increase the “capacity of the gravity sewer and connecting the force main directly into the gravity sewer.”

Work is scheduled to begin next week, April 13.

Edgell Road (between Central Street and Belknap Road) will be closed to through traffic.

Police details will be on-site.
