MARLBOROUGH – The number of positive coronavirus cases since the pandemic in the City of Marlborough now stands at 90.

In the last 24 hours, the City of Marlborough reported 3 news cases of COVID-19.

The City of Marlborough today, April 8, reported 27 individual have recovered from COVID-19, for a total of 64 active cases.

Two individuals in the City of Marlborough have died from COVID-19, since the pandemic began.

Neighboring Framingham has the most cases in MetroWest at 172.

Massachusetts saw its biggest one day rise since the pandemic began with 1,588 cases in the last 24 hours – a 9.9% increase.

Department of Public Health announced a total of 16,709 positive coronavirus cases in the Commonwealth.

The state said today, April 8, that ethnicity is now people tracked on positive cases, in addition to gender and age range.

The Commonwealth announced 77 new deaths from COVID-19 today. That brings the total since the pandemic began to 433 deaths.

Middlesex County has the second most positive cases at 3,545, behind Suffolk County, which includes Boston. Suffolk has 3,600 cases.
