Framingham Public Library Helping To Create N95 Masks

FRAMINGHAM – While the Framingham Public Library is closed to the public, the #D printer in the library is still helping others.

“Our little LulzBot Mini will be busy, while the library is closed, printing parts for N95 masks for First Responders and Medical Staff all over the Commonwealth,’ announced the Framingham Public Library today, April n7.

“Thanks to Reference Sub and Woburn Technology Librarian John Walsh for partnering with us,” said the Framingham Public Library.

N95 medical masks are in short supply due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The library has been closed since mid-March.

The Mayor announced the earliest the libraries could re-open is May 4.

However, yesterday, the Framingham Public Library sent out emails saying all books and borrowed materials would be fine-free through June 30, 2020.
