FRAMINGHAM – Last week, the Centers For Disease Control began recommending that Americans wear a cloth (not medical style) mask when in public.

Framingham Mayor Yvonne Spicer released a video, on her political Facebook page, to say she started wearing a mask today, April 6, and encouraged residents of the City of Framingham to do so as well, if out in public.

She reminded residents to continue to practice social distancing.

“Let’s stay healthy, Framingham,” concluded the Mayor.
