MARLBOROUGH – James E. Whitehead, Jr. 53, of Marlborough lost his hard fought battle with COVID-19 on Friday April 3, 2020 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

He was born and raised in Framingham, the son of the late James E. and Patricia A. (Dupree) Whitehead, and was a 1984 graduate of Keefe Technical High School.

Jimmy worked as a landscaper for Green and Groomed in Marlborough. Jim loved golf, music, and the company of his many friends. He was an avid reader and sports fan.

He leaves five sisters, Elizabeth Smith of Longview WA, Sue Juliani of Framingham, Mary Jo Whitehead of Marlborough, Patricia Aucoin of Wareham, and Lisa Mullin of Northborough, as well as nephews, nieces, and many loving lifelong friends.

Due to current circumstances the family will have a memorial service at a later date.

In memory of Jim the family asks that you contribute to a charity of your choice.

All are invited to sign Jimmy’s online guestbook at www.CollinsFuneral.com.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
