FRAMINGHAM – The Kelly Clarkson Show gave a shout out to a Framingham resident for being a good neighbor.

The TV show featured Nicole Doak for her work in creating the Framingham Coronavirus Community Outreach group on March 12. SOURCE wrote a feature about the effort on March 16.

The Facebook group now has 2,245 members and there is also a website.

“I started the group with the hope of connecting those who need help with those who are able to help,” said Doak to SOURCE in March.

Doak submitted a letter to the editor to SOURCE in April.

She said “we provide emergency support, emotional and social support, links to a variety of resources, and up-to-date store information. We have helpers who shop for those who are homebound or vulnerable. Whether you need help or support, someone is here.”

“If you are in need of help or would like to help, please reach out,” said Doak. “Resources and flyers are available in several languages.”
