FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced 6 more individuals have tested positive for COVID-19, in the last 24 hours.

This brings the total number of cases since the pandemic began to 112, the most in MetroWest.

Five individuals have died from the virus, announced the City, yesterday, April 2.

No other information was released by the City. The City has not released the age of the individuals who have died, if they were hospitalized, or if they had a pre-existing conditions. The state does release this information, but by county not by municipality.

The City said 21 individuals have recovered from the coronavirus.

Framingham has a population of about 70,000. It is unknown how many Framingham residents have been tested. The City has not released that information. The City is not releasing how many residents are in quarantine now.
