FRAMINGHAM – Framingham DPW announced a couple of road and sidewalk projects as well as a plan to mitigate traffic on one avenue in the City.

Grove Street Sidewalk Improvements: A City hired contractor will begin making sidewalk improvements near the intersection of Grove Street and Vernon Street. Expect minor delays.

Marble Street Roadway Improvements: A City hired contractor will begin installing street light poles. Also, utility companies will continue to transfer fiber cables. Expect minor delays.

New York Avenue Traffic Calming: A City hired contractor will begin prepping for traffic-calming improvements. Expect minor delays.

All projects will be conducted in conformance with the health and safety protocols set forth by the Commonwealth and the City of Framingham. As the situation with COVID-19 is ever-changing, construction schedules are subject to change.
