SUDBURY – Learn about The Wayside Inn while maintaining social distance at home.

The Wayside Inn Foundation (TWIF) is pleased to announce its new TWIF Online site – an activity blog for engaging young people (with the help of their families) during the current period of school and business closures.

The Wayside Inn Foundation has posted questions, prompts, and activities that encourage learning about topics related to The Wayside Inn Historic Site. Examples of activities include a Scavenger Hunt for both very young children and elementary-aged children, learning about postcards (a lost communications art), Mary Had a Little Lamb interpretations, and poetry and story-time read-alouds.

The Wayside Inn Foundation hopes this helps everyone pass the time, get creative, and have a little fun with learning.

The link to the The Wayside Inn Foundation Online activity blog can be found at https://twifonline.constantcontactsites.com/.

To see the activities offered click the blog tab.

Submissions from the community are posted under the bulletin board tab. New activities will be posted periodically, so be sure to check frequently.

Send pictures and video creations, along with any questions about the blog, to TWIF@wayside.org. Kids, ask a parent for permission first.

Enjoy! In the meantime, The Wayside Inn Foundation wishes everyone well at home.
