FRAMINGHAM – Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts invites girls
grades PreK-12 (and the community) to stay connected during COVID-19 with its new “Girl Scouts at Home” catalog at gsema.org/athome.
Girl Scouts can discover fun, friendship, and adventure as part of the largest girl-led organization in the world, all from the safety of home.
Every day, the site will be updated new virtual badge activities, programs, and resources for girls and families to engage with from home. GSEMA has staff-led, regularly scheduled programs by grade level; unique community events (including Sundown Sing-Alongs); and resources for families to learn new things on their schedule.
These virtual events and resources are free and open to the public—no Girl Scout membership necessary.
“This is an unprecedented and challenging time for Girl Scouts and their families, and it’s easy to feel disconnected staying home from school, work, and friends,” says GSEMA CEO Caitrίona Taylor. “At Girl Scouts, we are proud to offer enriching virtual at-home programming for girls, volunteers, and families at no cost. We welcome all to the supportive Girl Scout sisterhood experience, where girls learn skills of courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place.”
