Framingham: 20 Active Coronavirus Cases; 1 Recovered Case

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced two more positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 21 positive cases since the pandemic began.

The City said there are 20 active cases, and one individual has recovered, as of today, March 25.

The Health Department is in contact with the people who, and businesses that were potentially exposed to the positive cases to inform and counsel them on next steps, said the City in a press release.

 Bayberry Hill Estates told residents, one of its residents tested positive for COVID-19.

Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced there are now 1,159 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Massachusetts, as of March 24. There were 777 cases in the state on March 23.

Massachusetts public health officials announced 2 more individuals in the Commonwealth have died from COVID-19, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths to 11, as of March 24.

As of noon, the centers for Disease Control (CDC) has 54,453 positive cases of the coronavirus in the United States.

Yesterday, the CDC said 544 deaths. Today, that number is 737.
