FRAMINGHAM – Keefe Technical High School’s Principal sent an email to students & families about an enrichment plan for students while they are out of school, at least through April 6, due to the coronavirus.

“I want to thank everyone for their patience as we have worked with teachers and educators to put together a plan to offer enrichment to students during this absence from school.  I am writing to give you an update on the plan,” wrote Principal Shannon Snow.

This weekend students will receive a Bronco Bulletin that will outline Keefe Tech’s educational plan, said Snow.

“Beginning Monday, each department will share enrichment assignments with students twice a week and each educator will hold “office hours” twice a week,” explained Snow.

“The day assignments will be shared and the office hours will be outlined in the bulletin,” said Snow.

“During office hours, the educator will be in front of their computers and able to provide on the spot feedback to students via email or Google Classroom,” said Principal Snow.

“Everyone will be checking their email regularly, but during their selected times, they will be available to provide immediate assistance to students,” said Snow.

“Additionally, several teachers are offering Zoom class meetings and posting short videos for their classes,” said the Principal.

“Guidance counselors, special educators, and specialists will also be offering office hours.  In addition, they will be proactively reaching out to students and families about course selections, IEP planning, college and career planning, community resources, etc.,” explained the Principal
