This is a precautionary measure to limit any potential exposure to COVID-19, and is being taken due to the voluntary nature of the exam.

There is no known or documented exposure to COVID-19 on the Framingham Heart Study premises, at this time, said yesterday, March 18.

Framingham Heart Study leadership is continuing to evaluate the situation daily and will provide updates on an ongoing basis.

The study had previously suspended all exams through March 27.
