ASHLAND – A blown transformer knocked out power in Ashland and West Framingham this morning, March 19, just before 7 a.m.

The transformer was located near Cedar Street and Captain Eames Circle in Ashland.

Eversource said the outage affected about 1,150 customers in the two communities.

About 500 customers were restored just before 8 a.m.

The rest were scheduled to be restored by 10 a.m. said Eversource.
