1  Schools are closed today and through at least April 6.

There are food services available for students, families, and any others in need. Starting today, families can pick up a breakfast and a lunch at four schools Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

2. The City’s libraries and the Callahan Center are closed.

City of Framingham Mayor Spicer ordered City Hall closed as of today, March 17.

Framingham DPW is on schedule for trash and recycling collection curbside.

3. CITY of FRAMINGHAM meetings.

The Board of Health voted Monday night unanimously to have all Framingham boards, committees, commissions, except for the City’s legislative branch – City Council – to meet not in person.

  • Edgell Grove Cemetery Trustees cancelled their meeting for today.
  • Framingham School Committee will meet tonight at 7 p.m. remotely using Zoom. The public can watch the meeting on the district’s Facebook page.
  • Framingham Cultural Council cancelled its meeting for tonight, March 18
  • Framingham Conservation Commission is scheduled to meet tonight at 7.

 According to Mayor’s public schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer has no public events.

4. Governor Charlie Baker has ordered no gatherings of more than 25 individuals through April 6.

Baker-Polito administration has also declared that all restaurants, bars, taverns can not open for dine-in service. Take out and delivery service only through April 6.

5. The MBTA has a new schedule starting today, this includes the Commuter Rail.
