ASHLAND – A student at Ashland Middle School has been in contact with an individual who has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVIS-19), according to Superintendent of Schools Jim Adams.

That student is not displaying signs of Covid-19, but is displaying signs of a cold, said Adams.

He said he is taking immediate action by releasing schools early today, March 12.

Ashland Middle School: 12:45
Mindess School: 1:15
Ashland High School: 1:45
Pittaway School and Henry Warren School: 2:15

Adams said schools will also be closed on Friday, March 13.
