FRAMINGHAM – In light of the rapidly changing public health situation surrounding the COVID-19 virus, and following the lead of our Superintendent, Athletic Department and Mayor, Framingham Youth Lacrosse has decided to cancel all lacrosse-related events through at least Sunday, March 15.

This includes the following:
- All indoor practices 3/12-3/15.
- Thursday -Boys and Girls U13 (5/6)
- Thursday -Boys and Girls U15 (7/8)
- Friday- Girls U11 (3/4)
- Saturday Boys U13 & U15 Spring Warmup
- Sunday Boys and Girls U9 (K-2)
The Framingham Youth Lacrosse Board of Directors has been in contact with City officials and have discussed amongst ourselves our organizational approach to this.

Given the presence of the COVID-19 virus in our community (leading to school closures), the high likelihood of other asymptomatic carriers who have not yet been identified, and in the best interest of individual and public health, we have made this difficult decision.
FYL will continue to monitor this very fluid situation and will communicate further decisions regarding next week’s events by Monday evening.
