FRAMINGHAM – The Christa McAuliffe Charter School will be closed again on Friday on March 13.

It was closed today, March 12.

“McAuliffe has decided to follow Framingham Public School’s lead to close school tomorrow, Friday, March 13th. With tomorrow’s closure, the school will receive another round of cleaning in preparation for student return. We are closely monitoring the situation across all of our sending districts and are considering all of the options available to us,” said the school in an email to parents.

“While we know this is not ideal after the unexpected closures from the recent sprinkler flooding, we certainly appreciate your perseverance and kindness as we navigate this challenging situation. Our priority remains the safety of all of our students, faculty, and families,” said the grade 6-7-8 middle school.

The school is a regional public charter school, which students from several communities.
