FRAMINGHAM – The Christa McAuliffe Charter School in Framingham will be closed on Thursday, March 12.

“As many of you may know, there was a presumptive case of coronavirus diagnosed in Framingham today. We are aware of the many connections our families have with other schools within Framingham. In response, we are moving forward with the deep cleaning of the building that has been scheduled for both this evening and this coming weekend,” wrote the school’s leaders to parents this afternoon.

“For this reason, we will not have school on Thursday March 12, 2020 to facilitate cleaning of all buildings. To ensure the ongoing safety of our students, staff, and families, we continue to be in close communication with the Board of Directors, Department of Public Health, and Framingham Public Schools. School leaders are developing contingency plans for community events and options for remote learning and will be in touch to communicate plans as they develop,” said the school.
