BOURNE – The Boston College High School Eagles delivered the Framingham Flyers a season-ending 2-1 loss on Tuesday night at Gallo Arena in Bourne.

It was the Flyers second loss in the double-elimination Super 8 hockey tournament, which means it was their final game of the season.

It was an evenly matched game between the private and public high school teams.

This was the third meeting between the two teams since January 2019.

Framingham won the first battle 2-1. The Eagles won the second battle 2-1 during the 2019-2020 regular season. And the Boston College team won tonight by the same score.

Cole Deletti scored the lone goal for the Flyers in the second period off an assist by Dom Leone tonight, March 5.

Framingham goalie Jake Handy kept Framingham in the game all night with spectacular saves.

SOURCE will have a full report on the Flyers’ season on Wednesday.
