MARLBOROUGH – Wayside Athletic Club members will pedal together to honor cancer survivors, raise awareness about reducing cancer risk, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease on Sunday, March 8 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The American Cancer Society Pedal to End Cancer is an indoor cycling fundraising event to benefit the Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

This is the 16th Anniversary, and Wayside was one of the original six clubs to host the event.

Last year our 22 participants raised $14,230 for the American Cancer Society.

This year’s goal is $25,000.

If the goal is reached, Wayside will have raised more than $290,000 for the American Cancer Society!

You can register as an individual and ride the entire three hours, or register as a team of up to five people and share the cycling time (the fundraising minimum per team is $300 regardless of size).
