ASHLAND – Firefighters in Ashland rescued a dog and its owner, who had fallen through the ice today, February 25.

The dog and its Framingham female owner fell through ice at the Spring Street boat landing, according to the scanner.

The call came in for the rescue just after 3 p.m.

Ashland Fire and Ashland Police responded to Ashland State Park.

The woman was treated for hypothermia. The dog was placed in animal control’s vehicle to get warm.
