FRAMINGHAM – Students at the Christa McAuliffe Charter School in Framingham will return to the classrooms on Wednesday, February 26.
Students had not had class since Thursday, February 13.

On February 14, the day before school break, sprinklers went off in the regional public charter school building causing water damage.
Clean-up was done over the February break, but the middle school was still close on Monday and today, February 25, for additional clean-up, inspections, and the issuance of occupancy permits.

All the necessary permits were issued this afternoon.
The Charter School is considering making up one of the days off on March 3, which is the presidential primary in Massachusetts. Framingham Public Schools are closed that day.
Another date being considered is to have school on Good Friday in April. This would not be the first time the regional charter school has made up days off on Good Friday.
Framingham Public Schools and the Charter School both have had two snow days this calendar year.
