Hopkinton #1 Seed in Division 3 South Tourney; Holliston Plays Monday in Preliminary Game

HOPKINTON – Hopkinton High School boys ice hockey team is the #1 seed in the MIAA Division 3 South tournament, with a record of 19-1-0.

The Hillies have a bye in the preliminary round of the tournament.

There are 17 teams in the tournament, including Holliston High School.

Holliston, the #16 seed, will play Silver Lake Regional High School, the #17 seed, at Loring Arena in Framingham at 4 p.m. on Monday, February 24 in the preliminary round.

The Holliston Panthers have a record of 10-8-2. Silver Lake has a record of 10-9-2.

Dan Geary is the head coach of the Holliston High boys ice hockey team. One of the assistant coaches is Framingham Assistant Fire Chief Mike Dutcher.
