ASHLAND – The Ashland Clockers girls basketball team is the 12th seed in the MIAA Division 2 Central tournament.

The Marlborough High team is the #1 seed with a record of 18-2.

The #2 and #2 seeds, Medway and Medfield, also have 18-2 records. All three 18-2 teams have a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

Ashland, with a record of 10-10, will travel to Nashoba Regional High on Monday night, February 24 for a 6;30 p.m. tip-off. Nashoba Regional is the #5 seed with a record 16-4.

The winner of that game will play the winner of the Burncoat High vs St. Peter Marian High game. The quarterfinal game will be on February 27 at 6:30 p.m.

Wayland High is the 6th-ranked team at 13-7, Hopkinton is the 11th ranked team with a 10-10 record.
