CANTON – The Framingham High boys ice hockey team lost to the Hawks of Xaverian High Saturday night at the Ice House in Canton.

Playing in the 3rd Annual Hockey Fights cancer tournament, the Hawks defeated the Flyers 4-2.

Framingham is now 15-5 under head coach Will Ortiz.

Xaverian got on the scoreboard first last night, but senior captain Will Trischitta scored with 2:25 minutes left in the first period to tie the game.

It was 2-1 Xaverian after two periods.

Hawks extended their lead to 4-1 in the third period.

With 90 seconds left in the game, Hunter Balducci scored to cut the lead to 4-2.
