Task Force Arrests Jamaica Plain Man on Fentanyl & Cocaine Charges

NATICK – The MetroWest Drug Task Force arrested a Jamaica Plain man on a drug trafficking charge on Tuesday, January 7.

Ariel Rosario-Baez, 28, of Jamaica Plain had been the target of an investigation by the MetroWest Regional Task Force, comprised of Framingham and Natick Police Officers.

Around 3 p.m. Tuesday, while Rosario-Baez was under surveillance, police pulled him over on Oak Street in Natick.

Police found small bags containing fentanyl and small bags with cocaine inside his vehicle.

Police charged Rosario-Baez, whose street address was not known, with trafficking in fentanyl of more than 10 grams and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Judge David Cunis ordered Rosario-Baez, held for a dangerousness hearing at his arraignment on Wednesday.
